What do I get from my membership?

Membership gives access to our library of videos and books, helps maintain the equipment such

as bags and focus pads and contributes to the cost of administration and hall fees

Are there any extras?

To be graded under the JKA all students must purchase a license. This costs £20.00 (available

through the club) with a £15.00 yearly renewal fee. Gradings and and courses incur additional

costs - details available from an instructor or from JKA England

What about equipment?

Initially you can train in a tracksuit but you will eventually need a Gi. This can be purchased

through the club, from a good sports store or a dedicated martial arts shop such as Mejin - prices

from about £20.00
